Tri-Center's Elementary ASTRA Club has been organized for the 2000-2001 school year.  This year's membership includes Cortney Christiansen, Connie Carrigan, Alexandria Walter, Brittani Bruck, and Alissa Dermody.  The clubs sponsors, Ms. Nancy Krohn and Mrs. Joni Gunter, say these ladies are great workers.  The main projects this year are assisting with the mailing of the newsletters and organizing the Campbell's Soup Labels.  Thanks to these young ladies for their commitment to doing community service for our school.  We are proud of you!

5/2/01  The Elementary Student Council and ASTRA groups held a "Leadership Retreat" on April 20.  Students spent the night at the school.  They played some mixer games to get to know one another better and participated in team-building and cooperation games.  On Saturday, the students enjoyed a visit from Junior Deb Sparr, who came and talked to the group about all of the ways they can use leadership skills in school.
